Now is your opportunity to receive personal Olympic level coaching from one of this country’s most accomplished distance runners. Whatever your ability level you will benefit from the expert coaching offered by Olympian Alan Culpepper.
Alan will develop a personalized training program specifically designed for you based on your current fitness, training history and most importantly your specific goals. This program is comprehensive, fully engaged and tailored specifically for you. Any and all of your questions will be answered as you progress and you will be amazed at what you learn and achieve through the process.
DETAILS OF THE PROGRAM
Once confirmed you will receive an athlete questionnaire via email. This is a detailed document that covers all the pertinent areas needed to start the process, including your background in running, mileage, current fitness, racing history, scheduled events, injury history, etc. Upon receiving your questionnaire Alan will reach out to schedule a phone consultation to review your document and talk through your personal history, goals, travel plans, work/life balance and of course his training methodology in more detail. Next, a comprehensive evaluation will be done determining how best to reach your goals and shortly thereafter you will receive the first phase of your training plan. Each day is laid out including distance, pace, heart rate, long runs, total mileage and effort levels. The spreadsheets will be sent in two week segments for ease of use and the ability to modify as needed as you progress.
This is an ongoing relationship with no limit to the amount of communication via email, phone or skype. Together we will stategize for races, review specific workouts, talk through the physiology behind each workout, nutritional planning, footwear advice, running form discussions, celebrate a great race, or if need be help you work through an injury. Whatever you need to reach your potential Alan will be there every step of the way. The relationship is the key and it is no wonder that the best athletes in the world have a significant coaching relationship!
